Rimanere senza respirare per oltre 18 minuti. Sembra incredibile, ma l’italiano Gianluca Genoni è riuscito a battere il vecchio primato detenuto dall’inglese David Blaine con 17′04. Per arrivare a questo risultato il varesino, che detiene anche il record di apnea profonda, ha utilizzato una piscina con acqua riscaldata a 34 gradi, in cui è rimasto immerso per 18′03″69. Durante l’immersione Genoni è stato costantemente assistito dal suo staff tecnico e medico e tutto si è svolto nel migliore dei modi.
